Receiving a call from overseas
You can receive an international call in the same way as in Japan.
■ When letting a party make a call from Japan
In the same way as when you are in Japan, let a calling party make a call by
entering your phone number.

■ When letting a party make a call from outside of Japan
Let a calling party make a call in the same way as making an international call to
Japan, because the call is routed via Japan regardless of the country the caller
stays.

INFORMATION

When there is an incoming call from any country during international roaming, it is
treated as an international call forwarded from Japan. A caller is charged for a call fee
to Japan and a receiver for a reception fee including an international forwarding fee.

Even when a caller makes a call notifying caller ID, it may not be notified for some
overseas telecommunications carriers. A notified caller ID is different from the actual
one for some telecommunications carrier used by the caller.
Network search mode
Setting a search method for network
An available network is automatically searched for and reconnection is made
when starting international roaming or FOMA terminal is placed outside a current
network.

Setting may be unavailable for some radio wave and/or network conditions.
･
Telecommunications carriers except NTT DoCoMo cannot be selected in Japan.

Auto : Automatically reconnect to available network.
Manual : Search for network again and a list of networks to connect is
displayed. Select a network.

Searching again is available by pressing

Network re-search : When "Auto" is set, network is automatically switched.
When "Manual" is set, automatically search for networks again and a list of
networks is displayed. Select a network.

appears for unavailable network in PLMN List, 3G appears for 3G Network and
GSM appears for GSM/GPRS Network.

When FOMA terminal is placed out of the connected network during "Manual", search
for the network again, or set to "Auto".
