ppli from sites, FOMA terminal can be used more
conveniently. Direct registration to phonebook and schedule is available from
some i-

ppli, or Data Box including saving and obtaining image can be operated
with some i-

ppli.
And, since this FOMA terminal is compatible with large-capacity Mega i-
α
ppli,
you can play high-resolution 3D and long role-playing games.

Any image or movie saved by i-

ppli or i-
α
ppliDX is saved in "i-mode", "Deco-mail
picture" or "Deco-mail pict" folder of My Picture, "i-mode" folder of i-motion or added
album respectively, or in the i-

ppli. Any ToruCa saved by i-
α
ppli is saved in "ToruCa"
of ToruCa content.

When ring tone is saved by i-
α
ppliDX, it is saved in "i-mode" folder of Melody or in
the i-
α
ppli.
Downloading i-

You can download i-
α
ppli from sites and store it in FOMA terminal.

The maximum size of i-

ppli that can be saved is 1 Mbyte.

The selected i-

ppli is downloaded.

While downloading, press
g
and select "Yes" to stop downloading.

When downloading is terminated or communication is interrupted, a
confirmation screen for resuming may appear. If selecting "Yes",
downloading is resumed, and if selecting "No", a confirmation screen for
partial saving appears when it is available. When partial saving is
unavailable, the downloaded part is deleted. The rest of the i-
α
ppli partially
saved can be downloaded

A screen indicating that the data is already downloaded appears. When the

ppli is released, upgrading confirmation screen
appears. When already downloaded with another UIM, a confirmation screen
for overwriting appears.

When setting Set stand-by disp. to "Yes", setting confirmation screen
appears. If you select "Yes", i-

ppli is set for stand-by display and if Show
ticker of i-Channel ticker is "Yes", the ticker is canceled.

When downloading i-

ppli to use mail function with 2in1 ON in B mode, the
site screen reappears after selecting the saving destination. When the
setting screen is displayed, press
C
to return to the site screen.

sufficient (regardless of memory space in the i-

ppli storage area) or the i-

ppli that uses the same services as those
used by another Osaifu-Keitai compatible i-
α
ppli already saved. Delete the i-
α
ppli
following instructions displayed on the screen. Note that, some types of i-
α
ppli may
not be displayed as ones to be deleted or may require to be started or downloaded
again and the data in the IC card to be deleted.
