When Multi number call of Number Setting is "Disable", Multi number cannot
be selected.

2in1
This service allows you to use 2 phone numbers/mail addresses for 1 mobile
phone; you can use FOMA terminal as if you have two different mobile phones by
using the specific mode function.

With 2in1 ON, when replacing UIM (2in1 subscriber
→
2in1 subscriber), set 2in1
to OFF then set it to ON again to obtain a correct Number B, or obtain Number
B from User information.

And, when replacing the UIM (2in1 subscriber → 2in1 non-subscriber), set 2in1
to OFF to update to the correct user information.

Modes
A mode : Allow to use your phone number (Number A) to make calls, send/receive
i-mode mails (Address A) and view the related data.
B mode : Allow to use the 2in1 phone number (Number B) to make calls, access to
a site where WEBmail (Address B) is available and view the related data.
Dual mode : Allow to use functions of both A and B.

Precautions

Address B is used to send/receive mails to/from dedicated WEBmail site. → P190
･
With i-mode subscription, B mode is also available for i-mode services.
･
In B mode, Mail To function and SMS To function are unavailable.

INFORMATION

All data is deleted regardless of the 2in1 mode in the cases below.
- Deleting all items of recorded messages, voice memos, redial, received calls, phonebook entries,
mail logs
- Deleting operation except "One item" or "Selected items" for Inbox
- Deleting mail folder and/or phonebook group
- Deleting all data

When making calls connecting to an external device, calls are made from Number A.

Number Setting The name set in User information is displayed as Name
for Basic Number.

Additional No1 or No2: Name:
Up to 10 two-byte (20 one-byte) characters can be
entered. The name is displayed on the outgoing/
incoming call screen, Redial, Received calls, etc.
Additional No1 or No2: Phone number:
Up to 26 digits can be entered.
Multi number call :
With "Enable" set, a caller ID can be selected from
Multi number on a submenu.
