Service menu
Set program : You can set, check, cancel and suspend distribution of
programs.
Program list : Display program lists provided for Music&Video Channel.
About this service : Notify usage, precautions, etc., for the service. In
addition, you can subscribe to the service.
Setting programs

You can set up to 2 items.
･
To set, the site of Music&Video Channel program must be registered in My
Menu.

If you select the service menu at the time of purchasing this FOMA terminal
or when replacing UIM, "Confirm set up information?" appears.
･
For details of setting/checking/canceling programs, refer to "Mobile Phone
Users Guide [i-mode] FOMA version".

INFORMATION
･
To set the program with different UIM installed, first check the program setting
information from Set program. Checking the program setting information may delete
programs not moved to Saved program folder.
･
Even when canceling the setting of program, the site registered in My Menu is not
deleted.

When program is set
･
appears on the stand-by display 12 hours before program distributing time.
･
Downloading program is automatically performed at night.
･
appears on the stand-by display when download succeeds and appears
when failed. If you select the icon, you can check the Music&Video Channel
screen.

INFORMATION
･
If the remaining battery level is 2 or lower, downloading programs cannot be
performed.
･
Downloading program may take time. Check that the remaining battery is sufficient
and the radio wave conditions is good.
･
When FOMA terminal is out of service area at the time of starting download or
downloading is interrupted due to disconnection of communication, downloading
restarts automatically in 3 minutes. The restart is repeated up to 5 times.
･
When downloading is unavailable because FOMA terminal is not turned ON, the
remaining battery level is low, out of service area or in the bad radio wave conditions
at program distribution time, downloading is performed again at the same time in the
night of the next day.
･
Downloading cannot be performed automatically in the cases below. Set the program
again from the Music&Video Channel screen.
- When installing another UIM after setting program
- When UIM is replaced in another Music&Video Channel compatible FOMA terminal after setting
program
- When all data of FOMA terminal is deleted
･
Downloaded programs are saved by channels temporarily to Delivered program
folder in Music&Video Channel of Data Box. Programs of Delivered program folder
are deleted and cannot be played when the channel containing that program is
updated. Programs can be enjoyed in the period that can be played by moving them
to another folder before updating (
→ P318, 338). Note that some programs may not
be moved.

When canceling Music&Video Channel or i-mode, program data of Delivered
program folder may be deleted.
･
Even when starting or ending downloading program, it is not notified by sound,
vibrator or light.

Downloading programs manually
When program downloading fails, the rest of the program can be manually
downloaded.
･
A message appears for the time unable to download. Select "About
downloadable time" to check the time for downloading.
