7.6 Mixing System

RS and SD pumps except ISO-3100SD

The steps described in the following sections refer to the replacement procedure for the mixers
with which the pump is shipped (



page 22).

In addition, mixing systems with other volumes are available. For details, see section 9
(



page 183).

7.6.1 Capillary Mixer

Tip

: When you loosen or tighten capillaries on the static mixer, hold and fix the

static mixer with the open-end wrench (size 13 mm) to prevent the mixer from
turning in the mounting bracket. (The open-end wrench is provided in the
accessories kit for the pump.)

Disconnect the capillary mixer on the purge unit and on the static mixer.
