The jitter values Mean, RMS, and Peak-Peak refer to the whole jitter. The Gaussian

marker allows to measure the normal distribution of individual jitter peaks. You can

thus determine how parts of the jitter histogram contribute to the overall jitter

values.
You may have measured a bathtub curve like the one shown below:
