IP Network Configuration
To remotely manage the Hopper Plus 120-24 units, you need to define the Internet IP
settings.
Setting the Internet IP Address and Subnet Mask
Each Hopper Plus 120-24 unit in a system must have a valid Internet IP address and
subnet mask for communication via TCP/IP.
To set the Internet IP address
1.
From the Main Menu, select
IP Network Configuration
. The Network
Configuration window is displayed.
2.
Select
New IP Address
.
3.
Type the unique Internet IP address for the unit.
4.
Press the
Enter
key. The new Internet IP address appears in the
New IP Address
(Reboot Reqd)
field, but the old address remains in the upper field.
5.
Reboot the unit, or power the unit down and up toeffect the changes.
Network Configuration
Internet IP Address 192.168.1.100
New IP Address (Reboot Reqd) -> 192.168.1.100
Internet IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway IP Address 0.0.0.0
SNMP NMS Trap IP Address 0.0.0.0
