Accessing the Main Menu

Accessing Units via 

telnet

To access units via 

telnet

1.

Ensure that the unit s Internet IP address has been configured, the unit has a working 
Ethernet connection, and wire and remote access has been enabled (see 

Setting 

Remote Access

, page 60).

2.

Ensure that the VT100 Arrows feature in your telnet session is enabled. See 

Setting 

VT100 Arrows

, page 18.

3.

From a VT100 terminal, or emulation program, type 

telnet <IP address>

 

where <IP address> is the address of the unit that you want to configure.

4.

Press 

Enter
