Following the instructions in the section

entitled Upgrading the Hard Disk Drive

(HDD), try reseating the HDD in the bay.

After replacing a

HDD with a SSD the

system will not rec-

ognize the drive.

The SATA mode is not

set to AHCI.

Go into the BIOS and change the SATA

mode in the advanced menu from IDE

to AHCI. See

Firewire device is not

recognized when

plugged into VESA

Mounting Plate or

Docking Cradle.

Sahara NetSlate

a525 Tablet PCs do

not have Firewire

ports and therefore

the Firewire port on

VESA/Dock is not

supported.
