IMPORTANT:

and servicing this equipment can be found in Section 1 of this manual. Do not
operate or service the equipment until you have become familiar with this
information.
This section describes the types of washer malfunctions which may occur, and
indicates probable causes and corrective actions.
If you are unable to correct the problem with use of the Troubleshooting Charts,
or if a problem occurs that is not described on the charts, please call STERIS.
NOTE: Never permit unqualified persons to service the washer.

WARNING - ELECTRICAL
SHOCK AND/OR BURN HAZ-
ARD: Disconnect all utilities
to washer before servicing.
Do not service washer un-
less all utilities have been
properly locked out. Always
follow local occupational
health and safety regulations,
as well as electric and plumb-
ing codes.
WARNING - SLIPPING
HAZARD: To avoid slippery
floor conditions, immedi-
ately wipe up any spilled
liquids or condensation.

PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE AND/OR CORRECTION
1. Interior lights does not turn on.
1. POWER-OFF/STANDBY switch in OFF/STANDBY position –
Position to POWER.
2. Unit is in Service Mode – Switch unit to Operating Mode by
pressing EXTEND CYCLE touch pad.
3. Fuse is blown – Call STERIS.*
4. Defective relay – Call STERIS.*
5. Defective fluorescent or ballast – Call STERIS.*
