Routine Maintenance
WARNING – PERSONAL
INJURY AND/OR EQUIP-
MENT DAMAGE HAZARD:
•
Before servicing or clean-
ing exterior of unit, always
turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT
key selector to LOCK posi-
tion to de-energize unit.
Keep the key on yourself.
•
Always wear appropriate
personal protective equip-
ment (PPE), when cleaning
or removing debris from
bottom of wash chamber
and over suction plate.
WARNING – PERSONAL
INJURY HAZARD: Never
perform cleaning of wash
chamber until full cycle has
been completed. If cycle
has not been completed,
contaminated debris or
water may remain in bot-
tom of wash chamber.

HAZARD: To avoid slippery
floor conditions, immedi-
ately wipe up any spilled
liquids or condensation.

11. On load side of washer, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector to LOCK
position. Remove the key from the selector and keep on yourself. Red
indicator light above control panel starts flashing. Display shows:
WASHER LOCK
... and printer prints:
----------------------------------------------------
WASHER LOCK
HH:MM:SS
YY/MM/DD
----------------------------------------------------
12. Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), enter wash
chamber.
13. Remove all floor gratings.
14. Remove debris from bottom of each sump and each suction plate.
15. Wash chamber interior with a moderately alkaline solution adding tap water.
16. Rinse with tap water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
17. Reinstall floor gratings.
18. Using the key, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT to UNLOCK position. Remove the
key from selector and keep on yourself. Red light stops flashing and
display shows:
RODENTS
BOTTLES
RABBITS
PRIMATES
__ indicates flashing position.
19. When indicator light turns green, press
DOOR CLOSE
touch pad to close
door.
20. Run a DRAIN cycle to remove soiled cleaning water from the wash chamber
