System Configuration

Installation and Maintenance Manual v4/0615/10

Click on the Partner button and you will be asked if you wish to restart Navigate.

Select Yes and Navigate will restart. At this point the PC will need a network connection to the

maximiser system.

Once open Navigate will display “Navigate (Partner)

<user name>” in the title bar and the User

Name in the Status Bar.

Lift the handset on the relevant telephone to confirm that the connection between Navigate and

the phone is set up correctly. The Call Status bar will be displayed at the bottom of the Navigate

window.

Using Navigate with Vision

If a User of the Navigate software has also been configured as an Agent with the Vision Call Centre

software additional functionality becomes available within the PCS 60. Please refer to the PCS 60 User

manual and Vision Call Centre Configuration manual for further details.

PCS 60

The PCS 60 is a PC application that provides standard telephony functionality, CLI display, Operator

Console mode and gives Users the ability to set features such as forwarding and DND via an easy to use

dialogue box. It can be run on MS Windows and Apple Mac OS X version 10.4 or above. It can be

installed as an IP soft phone on a multi-media PC or programmed to partner a

User’s telepho

ne handset

(PCS 58x, 57x, 56x, 55x, 410/400, 100, 520, 10, 505, 5 or an alternative analogue handset).

Please refer to the PCS 60 User Manual for detailed descriptions on how to use this software.

Installing the PCS 60 software on a Windows PC

The set up file will be supplied in a compressed folder called, for example, PCS60.3.2.31.msi.zip.

Open this folder.

Run (double click) the set up file called, for example, PCS60.3.2.31.msi

At the Welcome screen select Next to continue the

installation

By default the software will be loaded into C:\Program

Files\SpliceCom\PCS60. Change this location if required.

Where relevant you will also have the option to load the

software for all Users of the PC or just for the currently

logged in User.

Select Next when ready

At the Confirm Installation screen select Next.

The software will be installed

At the Installation Complete screen select Close
