NOTE: The <ALT> and <MENU> keys must be pressed before the meter scans through all the

drives, or the selection of the detection mode and the Force Transmit function must be
initiated again.

1. After the detection mode is selected press <ENT>. If using the Magnetic Wand, the detection

mode is selected, trigger the <ENTER> sensor. While the flowmeter is going through the drives
(see menu screen below), press the <ALT> and <MENU> keys simultaneously.

2. As the meter begins to go through the drives, press <ENTER> again. A typical menu screen will

appear as shown below (i.e. only when using a PC via the RS-232 port) and indicate the current ALC
(e.g., 50). Steps 1 and 2 above must be completed before the meter scans through all the drives, or
selection of the detection mode and the Force Transmit function must be initiated again.

Note: The FUH1010PVX does not display the Force Transmit data display line.

This ALC number indicates the current receive signal strength and can be used for further diagnostic
purposes.
