Basic Configuration
5-32
MSN and IVR are enabled by default, unless you defined an External IVR in the
Miscellaneous Parameters screen, in which this case, only MSN is enabled (see “Setting
Miscellaneous Parameters,” page 5-16).
To enable the default extension, check the
Default Extension Enabled
check box and make
sure that a default extension is defined in the
Default Extension
text box; note that the
endpoint defined must be registered with the Gatekeeper. For more information, see
“Default Extension” in Chapter 2, “Overview.”
The
Default Outbound Calling Party Number
is provided by the L2W-323 Gateway if
the LAN endpoint does not provide a calling party number when making outbound calls
through the Gateway. Valid digits for this parameter are 0–9; a maximum of 11 digits are
allowed. This parameter is optional.
In the
Overlap Number Length
text box, define the number of digits the Gateway expects
to receive when overlap dialing is used for WAN-to-LAN calls. In overlap receiving, the
Gateway waits until it receives the number of digits specified in this field; it then forwards
the whole number to call setup signaling. (Check with RADVision Technical Support to see
if your Gateway version supports this feature.)
Note: If the in-block dialing method is being used, set the overlap number length to zero.
When you finish, click
OK
to confirm any changes. At the WAN Port Settings – ISDN
screen, click
Supported Services
. The Supported Services screen is displayed.
#"
To enable incoming call routing methods for the WAN port
1. From the WAN Call Parameters screen, select the check boxes of the call routing
methods you want to enable.
2. If you enable the default extension, define a default extension in the
Default
Extension
text box. The endpoint you define has to be registered with the Gatekeeper.
When you finish, click
OK
to confirm any changes. At the WAN Port Settings – ISDN
screen, click
Supported Services
. The Supported Services screen is displayed.
Viewing and Setting Supported Services
The Supported Services screen allows you to view the services supported by the Gateway.
From this screen you can also enable and disable these services. Default service are enabled
by default and supported by the Gateway BRI port; new services you define in the Gateway
Services Definition Table screen are not enabled until by default.
