Assigning Directory Numbers
Assign up to eight directory numbers for the signaling protocol (or for each SPID) selected
in the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen.
Note: When using the 5ESS_PTP protocol, Directory Numbers should be left blank.

To assign Directory Numbers to an ISDN Connection
1. From the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen click
Directory Num
. The Directory
Number screen is displayed.
2. Define between one to eight directory numbers (
DN
s) per signaling protocol (or per
SPID) and click
OK
to return to the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen.
Note: Use only the local seven-digit number for the DN and do not include the area code.
Do not use characters such as commas, dashes or spaces between the ISDN number
and the DN.
