Receiving Calls
You are unable to receive incoming calls through the L2W-323 Gateway WAN
ports

Refresh the Gatekeeper registration database.

From the Gatekeeper Network Control screen click
Unregister All
. This causes all
dynamically registered endpoints to unregister and re-register with the Gatekeeper. In
most cases this solves the call routing problem.

To enable and define incoming call routing methods for the Gateway
1. Open the Miscellaneous Parameters screen in the Unit Setup. Enable the internal IVR
or define an external one. If you enabled the internal IVR you can also define an IVR
operator (this is optional).
2. Open the WAN Port Settings screen in the Unit Setup. Click
WAN Call Parameters
.
The WAN Call Parameters screen is displayed.
3. In the WAN Call Parameters screen enable the relevant routing methods. If you
enabled the
Default Extension
you also have to define it in the
Default Extension
field.
The MSN dialing method is enabled but the call is not transferred to the
requested terminal

Endpoints on the LAN registered with the Gatekeeper with phone numbers assigned to
the BRI line to which the Gateway is connected.

The BRI line is in order.

To verify that endpoints on the LAN are registered with the Gatekeeper with phone
numbers assigned to the BRI line to which the Gateway is connected
1. Run the OnLAN Configure 323 configuration software.
2. Open the Gatekeeper Zone Definition Table.
3. Verify the phone numbers of the registered and online terminals correspond to the
phone numbers assigned to the BRI line to which the Gateway is connected.
If you have endpoints on the LAN that do not support the RAS protocol and cannot register
dynamically with the Gatekeeper, verify that these endpoints are predefined and up and
