Viewing the Configuration Status of a WAN Port

To view the configuration status of a single WAN port

Type

in the WAN Ports Configuration menu and press
Enter
. Configuration
information for WAN ports may differ depending on the type of port. The following is
one example of a single WAN port configuration screen:

The following information can be displayed for the WAN port:
Port Number
– the number of the LAN port.
Port Status
– the status may be either “enabled” or “disabled.”
Physical Interface
– type of physical interface used for the port.
Signaling Protocol
– the ISDN signaling protocol.
SPID
– the Service Provider Identification for the ISDN connection (USA only).
Directory Number
– you can define up to eight directory numbers for each SPID.
To see the configuration status of the next WAN port, type
n
and press Enter.
To see the configuration status of the previous WAN port, type
p
and press Enter.
