Chapter 5  Operations after OS Installation

When the DOS prompt window appears, enter the following command and 

press the [Enter] key.

A:\SMT\>dir

Check that BIOS save information files "SAVECMOS.BIN" and "nvram.enu" are stored in the 

floppy disk.

Do not recover BIOS backup data of a different version or information on other server blades.               
The system status may become unstable.

Enter the following command and press the [Enter] key to recover BIOS 

information.

A:\SMT\>write.bat

If the BIOS information is recovered correctly, the following message appears.

The BIOS information will be enabled after the next system restart. Restart the 

server.

Perform Step 1 to display the DOS prompt window. The recovery procedure has been completed. 

The server can now be turned off safely.
