7. Click [Next].
The [Install Hardware Device Drivers] window appears.
8. Select [Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)] and click [Next].
The [Locate Driver Files] window appears.
9. Check [Specify a location], and click [Next].
The [Driver Files Search Results] window appears.
10. Click [Next].
When the installation is completed, a completion message appears.
11. Click [Finish].
12. Click [Close] to close the properties window.
[USB 2.0 Root Hub] is added under [Universal Serial Bus controllers] of the Device
Manager.

When a SCSI array controller is used for an array configuration, install RAID
Management Tool.
For the installation procedure, refer to "Onboard SCSI RAID User's Guide".
The installation of Windows 2000 Server has completed.

Before Starting Operation
After OS installation, refer to the following and perform the necessary procedures.
• Installation of high reliability tools
To ensure stable server operation, refer to "Chapter 6 High Reliability Tools" (
pg.163) and install
high reliability tools.
• "Chapter 5 Operations after OS Installation" (
Perform the necessary procedures.
4.2.4 Installing Linux
For the use of Linux, refer to the Fujitsu PRIMERGY website (http://primergy.fujitsu.com).
4.2.5 Installing the Class Driver for Unknown Device
After Windows 2000 Server was installed, GEM318 (SAF-TE controller) is recognized as an unknown
device. Installing the class driver for this device enables to recognize the controller as "FSC Termination
Module".
Install the driver in the following procedure.

Log on to the server with administrator privileges.

Insert the ServerStart CD-ROM into the drive of the server.
When the ServerStart window appears, exit ServerStart.
