Initializing Memory
If the NT11S is used for the first time or if the screen data is ruined and the NT11S
cannot be normally started, the memory needs to be initialized.
The memory initialization is required in the cases mentioned below.

When the NT11S is used for the first time or when an error message indicating
that the screen data is ruined etc. when the NT11S is started.
S
When the screen has disappeared during the start-up or operation.
Use the NT11S DIP SW2-2 “Screen data forced initialize effective/ineffective”; ini-
tializes the memory.
When an error has occurred, the error messages such as “Screen data corrupted”
will be displayed. For the error messages displayed on the screen, refer to Section
6-2 “Responding to Displayed Error Messages” (page 133).
Initializing the screen data memory will erase entire screen data registered in the
NT11S. Make sure that there are backup copies of the screen data on floppy disks
before starting the initialization.
