3-7-4 Selecting the Channel for Communication with the PC
The NT11S allows selection of RS-232C or RS-422A as the channel (communica-
tion port) for communication with the PC. The channel to be used is selected at the
“Comm. Port” item in the memory switch menu.
The setting on shipment is “RS-232C”.
Select the channel by performing the following operations, starting from the sys-
tem menu.
Select “Maintenance Mode”
with the
key, then press “EN-
TER”.
Select “Memory Switch” with the
key, then press “ENTER”.
Display the next screen by
pressing the
key.
Select “Comm. Port” with the
key.
Pressing the [+/--] key while
“Comm. Port” is highlighted will
cause the selection for this item
to alternate between “RS-232C”
and “RS-422A”.
To quit after setting the selection made, press the “ENTER” key. To quit without
setting the selection made, press any two function keys simultaneously.
Select the system that is supported by the PC to be connected.
