Footpedal 1999 (R or L)
Note: This only applies to units with serial numbers of 411001 – 413367. For serial numbers
≥
413368 see Footpedal 2000 instructions. You may want to remove both lower retaining rings
from the footpedal tubes to reduce operating tension. See Retaining Ring Removal instructions.
Tools Required
Snap ring pliers - 90
°

Rubber mallet
Quick clamp (maybe)
Safety glasses
1. Turn NuStep gently onto the side
that you want to remove the
footpedal from (left side is shown). 2. Remove lower retaining ring from
footpedal support tube inside frame.
This ring may already be removed.
3. With NuStep upright, remove
upper retaining ring near footpedal. 4. With equal pressure, pull/pound
tube out of frame and footpedal.
Arm must be all the way forward.

205 lbs (93 kg). To avoid injury, or
damage to the product, always obtain
assistance to move this product. Use
proper lifting technique.
To avoid injury, wear safety glasses.
