5.2.3 Connection for impedance measurement
Apply an AC signal from the internal oscillator to the device under test (DUT). Supply the
voltage signal to CH1 and current detect signal to CH2.
A 1 to 100
Ω
shunt resistor is suitable for current detection. If measuring a larger voltage and
large current, supply the FRA5097 oscillator output to an external amplifier. The NF
Corporation HSA series can be used to 300 Vp-p. If the DUT current is large, a current probe
(CT) can be used for the detector.
