Trunk Exclusion
Use Trunk Exclusion to exclude certain trunks not subject to per-call charges (like WATS lines) from
the SMDR report. This makes call accounting easier, since you review only those calls with variable
costs.
•
Usage Summaries
SMDR can automatically print daily, weekly and monthly call activity summaries. Each summary
includes the total number of regular trunk calls and ISDN trunk calls, and the costs for each type.
The daily report prints every day at midnight. The weekly report prints every Sunday night at
midnight. The monthly report prints at midnight on the last day of the month.
•
Extension Name or Number
The SMDR report can include an extension name or extension number. Choose the method that
makes it easier for you to track call usage.
Extension: (V2.0 or higher)
•
Calls been Answered
SMDR will record the Extension Number that has called and Extension Number that has picked up
the call.
•
Calls on Hold
SMDR record the number that has been put on hold and the number that has answered the Hold.
Duration Time will start when both side are connected until one will side will became IDLE.
•
Call made out from extension that is on Hold
When call made from the extension that has another call on hold SMDR will record once the one
party became idle. Duration will be measured from time the both end connected until one side
became idle. Person who is on hold wont be recorded.
•
Transferred Calls
During the transfer, each time a connection is made the SMDR will issue a record. For example, if
person A calls B and B answers the call, it will be recorded. If A puts B on Hold and calls C, if C
answers then the call will be recorded. If A then transfers the call and B And C are connected then it
will also be recorded.
•
Mobile Extension
Mobile Extension's proxy ports only output SMDR events on their client side. The master side will
not set or check the time stamps. Actually this should be clear, but as it may happen that the master
side is an internal extension too, this needed to be clarified.
A Mobile Extension call actually consists of two call contexts on the same port which acts as a proxy.
The first call is the client-server connection between a third party and the proxy port, with the proxy
being the server. The second call is the connection between the proxy port and its controlling master.
Here the proxy isn't the slave. In the Mobile extension's documentation only the terms client and master
are used to define or describe the other party, the proxy is acting as the connection between client and
proxy port is the relevant connection, the other connection's output is suppressed.
•
SL Net
Each SMDR will record the call if the call goes over two systems. There maybe a slight delay in time
duration.
Two systems will record the call so if you are going to combine two SMDR into one record there will be
a 2 same call recorded.
•
Conferences
If party A establishes a conference with party B and C and then drops out, a record will print for
party A to B and party A to C. A 3rd record will print when either B or C goes idle. Calls are printed
in the order they leave the conference.
•
Virtual Extension
SMDR will record the Extension that answered the Virtual Call.
•
Answering Paging
SMDR will record the Extension that answered the Page.
•
Group call
SMDR will record the Extension that answered the Group call.
