“Initial Size”

“Paging file size for each drive”
to a size larger than the
recommended value described in
“Total paging file size for all drives”
, and change
“Maximum Size”
to a size larger than
“Initial Size”
. Click
“Settings”

A message may be displayed to prompt the system reboot depending on the contents of
changed setting.
Follow the message and reboot the server.

The paging file size described above is the recommended size for collecting
the debug information (dump file). For the Windows partition, the paging
file with sufficient initial size for storing the dump file is required. If the
paging file size becomes insufficient, correct debug information may not
be collected because of the insufficient virtual memory. Make sure to set
the sufficient size for the paging file for the whole system.

Partition Size", described earlier.

When the memory is additionally installed, set the paging file again to match
the memory size.
