Collecting User-Mode Process Dump (Dr. Watson
Diagnostics Information)
This section describes how to collect diagnostics information related to application error.

Collecting Memory Dump
This section describes how to collect dumped contents of memory at a failure.
There are two ways of collecting memory dump. Choose one of the below.

Operate the navigation button of EXPRESSSCOPE
®
Monitor. From the operation menu, go to
“Serverx
→
SVRx Control
→
SVRx For Maint
→
SVRx Force Dump.”
●
Connect to the Web console, and then press
“Force Dump”
button from
Summary
(sub
menu).
To collect memory dump, each OS require its settings. Refer to
“Introduction”
for more details.
IMPORTANT:
●
Collect memory dump after consulting the person who is managing
the system or (if necessary)the maintenance service company. If
logs are collected when the system is properly operating, the system
may become unstable.
●
When the system restarts after the failure, it may show a message
indicating that there is a shortage of virtual memory. Simply
continue the system startup. If the system is reset and then restarted
once again, the collection of dump will fail.
