1.2.2 Event
Log
Event Log is displayed by selecting
“Monitoring”
from the left
menu and clicking
“Event Log.”
When various events occur, the occurrence date, hardware
type and contents are recorded in Event log. Event Log displays the information of the occurred
events.
For the collected event with more detailed information, the information can be acquired as a file
by clicking
“Download.”
By clicking
“BID,”
analysis result of BID can also be displayed.
Click
“Clear Event Log”
to delete event contents.
This function is used by maintenance personnel for analysis in case of failure occurrence.
(1) Event log is displayed for 100 items per page. Switch pages of event logs to be displayed by
selecting the link with number.
(2) Select sensor type to be displayed from
“select an event log category.”

Description
All Sensors
All of events
Threshold
Temperature, Voltage, and Fan sensors which have threshold.
Generic
Generic events, which are defined as the Generic Event Type Codes in
IPMI Specification.
Sensor Specific
Sensor specific events, which are defined as the Sensor Type Codes in
IPMI Specification.
OEM
OEM defined events, which are not generic and sensor specific events.
