exist, all of these configuration
options are not displayed. To
select a boot device, press
<Enter> at the desired option
and select the boot device from
the displayed menu.
For example,if you want to
have boot “Built-in EFI shell” at
first priority,then select Boot
Option #1,press <Enter> and
select “Built-in EFI shell”.
Also it is possible to disable a
specific boot device by
selecting Disabled.
[ ]: Factory default
(Note 1) Only 1 device of the specific type is displayed in the list. When 2 or more devices of
the same type exist, change priority order of the devices of the same type using sub
menu,BBS priorities.
(Note 2) All devices which are recognized by BIOS are displayed.
Such as :
MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ...
(Bus 03 Dev 00)PCI...
(Note 3) If a device is not recognized by BIOS because of a failure/error, the device
is not recognized as boot device at the same time. After the failure/error is
resolved, the device will be recognized as new boot device at the lowest
boot priority order. So, change the priority order for the device if needed.
(Note 4) If both EFI boot and Legacy boot options are included in this menu at the
same time and the priority for the EFI boot option is lower than the priority
for the Legacy boot option, then the EFI boot option will not be treated as
boot device. The EFI boot options mean “UEFI:xxxx” and "Built-in EFI
Shell".
For example,
Boot Option #1 : [MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ...] <-Legacy boot option
Boot Option #2 : [Built-in EFI Shell] <-EFI boot option
Boot Option #3 : [Bus 03 Dev 00)PCI...]
If a media is not inserted in the “MATSHITADVD-RAM UJ...",Option #1,
then the “Bus 03 Dev 00)PCI...”,Option #3, will be selected as a boot
device instead of the [Built-in EFI Shell], Option #2.
