SMASH-CLP 

About SMASH-CLP 

 

Using SMASH-CLP command line interface,some functions such as below are supported 

          * Power On/OFF the system 
          * Display the system information and status 
     * Set the network 
          * SOL 
        SMASH-CLP is command line protocol interface specification defined by DMFT,Distributed   

Management Task Force. 

    The management firmware supports SMASH-CLP version 1.0(DSP0214). 
 

Operation 

General description 

Connect to the network when using SMASH-CLP. Set the same IP address as set in 
EXPRESSSOPE

®

 Monitor or Web Console for the network addres of the terminal software. 

SMASH-CLP is a kind of shell program and is not divided in some functions such as Web 
Console. So the same SMASH-CLP program is started up If any IP address is used to connect. 
The figure below shows the connection from the terminal software(Tera Term) to management 
firmware and SMASH-CLP is started up on it.
