3300 ICP Technician’s Handbook

Replace the controller card and connect the cables.

Plug in and turn on the power supplies and power up the controller.

Perform a full install of the system software from the Software Installer
tool.

To upgrade Flash 1 to add voice mail capability:

Power down the controller.

Turn off both power switches on the power supplies.

Remove the controller card (page 232).

Slide out Flash 1, and slide the 4 GByte Voice Mail Flash into the
Flash 1 position.

Replace the controller card and connect the cables.

Plug in and turn on the power supplies and power up the controller.

Perform a full install of the system software from the MCD Software
Installer tool.

Note:

A full install formats the

4 GByte

flash and creates the voice mail

partitions. It is required if the system software was initially installed with a
512MB Flash 1 card present.
