Install and Replace Units

Power Supply Unit

MXe, AX

To replace a power supply unit in a single power supply MXe or AX:

Turn off the power switch on power supply.

Remove the power cord from the power supply AC receptacle.

Loosen the thumb screw with a Phillips screwdriver on the power
supply and slide it out.

Remove the defective power supply unit from the rear of the controller.

Slide the new power supply unit into the controller.

Push to seat the power supply into the system power connector.

Secure the thumb screw and tighten it with a Phillips screwdriver.

Connect the power cord and set the AC power switch to ON.

ASU II

To replace the ASU II AC power supply:

Remove the power cord from the power supply AC receptacle.

Loosen the thumb screw on the power supply using a Phillips
screwdriver.

Pull the power supply out.

Slide the new power supply into the slot on the rear of the ASU II, with
the thumb screw on the bottom.

Push to seat the new power supply into the system.

Secure the thumb screw and tighten it with a Phillips screwdriver.

Insert the AC power cord into the power supply AC receptacle.
