Notes on using N-04C
•
The FOMA terminal does not support
accessing i-mode sites (programs), i-αppli,
etc.
•
The FOMA terminal automatically performs
communication for synchronizing data,
checking the latest software version,
maintaining connection with the server, etc.
Also, operations such as downloading appli
-
cations and viewing videos cause a large
volume of packet to be transmitted and
incurs high communication charges.
Subscription to packet flat-rate service is
highly recommended.
•
Public mode (Drive mode) is not supported.
•
Setting the phone to Silent mode does not
mute sounds (playback of video or music,
alarm, etc.) other than the ringtone and
notification sounds.
•

For the software version of your FOMA

•
You can update the software of your FOMA
terminal.

•
Updates for quality improvement of FOMA
terminals and operating system (OS)
upgrades may be applied.
Such an update or upgrade may cause
applications you are using to be unusable or
have unexpected errors.
•
If you use a FOMA card (blue), you cannot
use this terminal overseas. Please contact
a service counter at a docomo Shop to
exchange.
•
Set the screen lock password to ensure the
security of your FOMA terminal for its loss.

If your FOMA terminal is lost, change your
password of each service account using a
PC to prevent other persons from using
Google services such as Google Talk,
Gmail, Android Market, as well as Twitter,
Facebook, and mixi.
•
The FOMA terminal does not support
service providers other than sp-mode,
mopera U or ビジネスmoperaインターネット
(Business mopera Internet) (only PPTP is
supported for VPN).
•
This FOMA terminal cannot be used as a
modem.
