Making calls to other countries
(including Japan) while
overseas
You can use the international roaming service
to make calls to other countries while
overseas.

From the Home screen,

Enter + (touch and hold "0")
→ country code → area code
(city code) → the other
party's phone number.
•
If the area code (city code) begins with
"0", omit "0".
•
You may need to dial "0" at the
beginning of the phone number for calls
to some countries and regions, such as
Italy.

Making calls to other countries
of which the country code is
registered with international dial
assist setting
You can readily dial the number of the party in
other country to whom you often make calls
by enabling "Automatic int'l call" and
registering "Country/Area name" and "Country
code". At the time of purchase, phone number
is converted into the international number
with "+81" for Japan, with the area number of
"0" omitted.

Tap "Dial".

If you do not want to convert the
number, tap "Dial original phone
