Caller ID notification service
When making a call, your phone number can
be shown in the display of the other party's
phone.

From the Home screen,

→ "Settings" → "Call
settings" → "Network
service" → "Caller ID
notification".
Setting…Set whether the other party is
notified of your caller ID. Tap "ON" to
enable notification, and "OFF" to disable
notification.
Check setting…The current Caller ID
notification settings are displayed.
NOTE
The Caller ID notification service is not
available when your FOMA terminal is out of
service area.
The service is only active when the other
party's phone can display the caller ID.
If an announcement requesting caller ID is
heard when making a call, activate Caller ID
notification or add the "186" prefix to the
phone number and call again.
Public mode (power off)
Public mode (power off) is an automatic
response service dedicated for a manner at
locations where publicness is required at a
high level. When Public mode is enabled and
the FOMA terminal is powered off, a message
is played to callers, telling that you cannot
answer the call because you are in a situation
where you have to power off the phone (e.g.,
you are in a hospital or airplane, or close to a
priority seat in a train), and the call is
automatically terminated.
