Talk
Google Talk is a Google instant messaging
program. It allows you to chat (text chatting)
with friends who have Google accounts. To
use Google Talk, you must set up your own
Google account. For details, see "Setting
online service accounts" (P.79).
Before using Google Talk
To use Google Talk, you must sign in and add
a new friend. If you already have a Google
account, you don't have to sign in to start
using Google Talk.
● Signing in to Google Talk

From the Home screen,

"Talk".

The set Google account appears.
NOTE
If your Google account settings have not
been completed, the "Add a Google
Account" screen appears. Follow the
onscreen instructions to add the account. If
you do not have a Google account, you can
also open an account.
● Adding friends

From the "Talk" screen,

→ "Add friend".

The "Invite a friend to chat" screen
appears, on which you are asked to
enter the address to which you wish to
send the chat invitation.

Enter the Google Talk
instant messaging ID or
Google account of the
person you are inviting.

As you enter text, a list of accounts
matching what you have entered
appears. If the invitee's account is on
this list, tap the account to specify it

Clear the browser cache, the
browsing history, cookies, form

whether to accept cookies, to
save form data and to enable
location information.

Set whether to save
passwords and whether to
display security warnings. You
can also clear saved
passwords.
Advanced
settings
Restore default values for
website settings and browser
settings.
