FAULT MESSAGE Traction Motor 3 High Current While in Dynamic Brake.
RESTRICTIONS
Dynamic brake is Prohibited.

Medium, Manual
After manual reset if the fault still present, the fault will be generated
again.
FAULT
RECOVERY
Automatic when Traction Motor current is reduced and Master
Controller Handle is brought to Idle. Automatic Fault Reset is permitted
for maximum 3 times in an hour, after which manual clearing is
required.
PROBABLE
CAUSES
1. Short circuited / burnt grids between R11 and R14 (TM3 and TM6
Armatures)
2. Wrong connection of Dynamic brake grids.
3. Welded / burnt contacts of BKT.
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Check for any wrong connections at the Dynamic brake grids and
as well at BKT. Identify and reconnect the cables correctly.
2. Check the BKT contacts thoroughly for any burnt / welded contacts
or foreign material on the contacts. If necessary attend / replace
BKT.
3. Check for any short circuit between R11 and R14 cables from BKT
to Grids.
4. Remove the Grids which are connected between R11 and R14
cables and check for any burnt / short circuited grid panels. If found
replace the damaged grids.
