PROBABLE
CAUSES
1. Defective relay AFLR.
2. Defective wiring.
3. Defective digital output card MLSD16
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Switch ON circuit breakers MB1, MB2 breakers only and all other
breakers in OFF position. Check the status of ALFR relay. The relay
should be in de-energised position.
2. If interlocks are in disturbed condition and Green LED 12 on the
digital input card MDIP16 in slot 12 is glowing replace the relay.
3. If the relay is in energized position, check the voltage across the
coil.
A. If the voltage is zero, but the relay is picked up position, then
relay is defective. Replace the relay.
B. If the voltage is more than 65V, then the MLSD16 card is
defective. Replace the card.
4. With the AFL relay in de-energised position, check the status of the
Green LED 12 on the digital input card MDIP16 in slot No. 12.
If the Green LED is glowing, AFLR FB wire is getting wrong supply
continuously. Check up wiring and rectify.
If the green LED 12 is not glowing, run self test for the relay ALFR
to verify the operation of relay interlocks.
Note: This Error message will be generated only if Auto Flasher relay is provided and
“Auto Flasher Enabled” Flag is set.
