Chamber film wrapping

FMI 7: The film is not transported when the tying process has started.
The film roll is empty. „ Change the film roll, refer to page 91 .
The film roll has the wrong di-
mensions.

Use only film rolls with the prescribed dimensions, refer to

The film roll has not been cor-
rectly inserted into the roll
holder.

Insert the film roll according to the description, refer to
page 90 .
The brake force release has
not been set correctly.

Check and set the brake force release during the feed
process,
refer to page 177 .
The film has not been cor-
rectly inserted.

Insert the film according to the description, refer to page 91 .
The film overhang is too short. „ Check the film overhang. Ensure that it is at least 250 mm.

If the film overhang is too short, adjust the wire rope, refer to
page 175 .
The brake force release has
not been set correctly.

Check and set the brake force release during the feed
process,
refer to page 177 .
The wrapping material brake
does not release.

Adjust the wrapping material brake, refer to page 176 .
„ Check the axial play of the wrapping material brake, refer to

The film is pulled earlier even
though the feed rocker arm is
not yet in the feed position.

Check the sensor B61 "Tying 1 (passive)" and set the feed

The rotational speed is too
high. „ Check the rotational speed. It must not be higher than 540
rpm.
The inserted film is pulled out
of the retaining comb. „ To keep the film taut, adjust the end position, refer to
page 171 .
The feed strips on the retain-
ing comb are not correctly fed. „ Check the spring tension of the retaining comb, refer to
page 182 .

Check the feed strips for damage. If required, have new
blue strips ordered and mounted by the KRONE service
partner.
