Switching the operation unit on/off

To switch on the KRONE Alpha operation unit, press the

key.

Æ

If the voltage supply is correct, a short self-test of the operation unit is performed: All
warning lights light up briefly and an acoustic signal sounds.

Æ

The operation unit is ready for operation.

To switch off the KRONE Alpha operation unit, press the

key.

INFORMATION

After the operation unit is switched on, manual mode is always switched on and the pick-up is
preselected.

In addition, the set automatic blocking time starts.

9.3

Start tying process in manual mode

In manual mode, tying for each round bale is started at the touch of the key.

To activate the manual mode, press the

key.

Æ

The warning light above the key and above the selected wrapping type lights up.

As soon as the round bale has reached the preselected baling pressure, an acoustic alarm is
sounded and the warning lights (2) light up. Tying can then be started.

Press the

key.

ð

The tying cycle starts and ends automatically.

Once the round bale has been wrapped, open the tailgate with the control unit of the tractor
and eject the bale.

9.4

Starting tying in automatic mode

Wrapping starts automatically in automatic mode once the round bale has reached the preset
baling pressure and the preset blocking time has expired.

To activate the automatic operation mode, press the

key.
