17.1 Setting the baling pressure
For “medium electronics” version

The black preselection indicator (2) on the right, front side of the machine can be set to check
visually when the desired baling pressure has been achieved. The baling pressure must not
exceed the setting "3".
The following pressure ranges are recommended by KRONE:
Type of crop Recommended pressure range
Hay low
Straw medium/high
Silage high
The baling pressure is set on the wing nut (3) on the left-hand side of the storage compartment.

The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page 27 .

The storage compartment is open.
„ Switch on the KRONE Alpha operation unit, refer to page 102 .

Lift the black baling pressure indicator (1) to the desired position.
„ Loosen the wing nut (3) and move the screw with wing nut (3) until the KRONE Alpha
operation unit warning lights are lit and the horn sounds,
refer to page 106 .

Tighten the wing nut (3).
