WARNING
Risk of burns!
Start regeneration only in non-combustible areas. Dur-
ing the regeneration process, the deposited soot parti-
cles are burned and very hot exhaust gases (up to
600°C) may escape.
ATTENTION
Never interrupt the regeneration process unless it is abso-
lutely necessary!
If the regeneration indicator on the display lights up dur-
ing operation then a regeneration process must be
started.
Regeneration can be performed automatically or man-
ually.
Work can continue during Automatic regeneration.
For manual cleaning ("Parked regeneration"), stop at
suitable location within 15 minutes. Regeneration takes
approx. 30 min., set the travel direction to the NEU-
TRAL position and do not press the accelerator pedal.
The driver's seat can be vacated during this period.
To start the regeneration process, first press function
key F 10 (lower right key), then press F 1 for Automatic
or F 2 for Manual cleaning.
Note
The engine speed increases noticeably during both
types of cleaning. When cleaning has finished the indi-
cator lamp goes out and the engine speed decreases
again.
Note
The regeneration instructions above should suffice in most
cases and more detailed descriptions are provided in the
section "Faults with display".
CAUTION
Do not sweep up packing strips, wire or similar objects as
this may choke up the suction canal.
To avoid damaging the floor, do not continue to operate
the sweeping machine in the same position.
NOTICE
To achieve an optimum cleaning result, the driving speed
should be adjusted to take specific situations into account.
During operation, the waste container should be emptied
at regular intervals.
Set the desired motor speed on the display (see Chap-
ter "Control panel").
Set the brush speed (see Chapter "Control panel").
