DANGER
Risk of burns!
Do not touch hot combustion engine.
Allow the vehicle to cool down before removing the
panels.
Do not bend over the exhaust or touch it.
The exhaust gas opening of the combustion engine
must not be closed.
DANGER
Scalding danger!
Never open the lid on the cooler while the motor has op-
erating temperature. The container is under pressure.
The motor must be shut down and the vehicle must be
securely fastened on the lashing points during trans-
port.
Refer to Chapter "Transport".

Switch off the vehicle and, if necessary, remove the ig-
nition key prior to performing any cleaning or mainte-
nance tasks on the vehicle, replacing parts or switching
over to another function.
–
Maintenance work may only be carried out by approved
customer service outlets or experts in this field who are
familiar with the respective safety regulations.
–
Observe the safety inspection pursuant to the applica-
ble local provisions for mobile vehicles used for com-
mercial purposes.
–
Articulated joint, tyres, radiator fins, hydraulic hoses
and valves, seals and electric and electronic compo-
nents must not be cleaned with the high-pressure
cleaner.
DANGER
Safety installations serve the protection of the user and
may not be modified or bypassed.
This vehicle is equipped with various safety systems.
–
Automatically operated parking brake with standstill of
the vehicle if the travel direction lever is on neutral or
the motor is off.
–
Seat contact switch on the driver seat.
The main switch interrupts the entire electrics. Switch off
and remove the main switch (position 0) when the vehicle
is parked.
In order to start the engine:
–
the main switch must be switched on (position I).
–
the driver must be seated on the seat.
The motor shuts off:
–
if the weight is taken off the driver seat and the travel
direction lever is NOT set to neutral.
–
if the weight is taken off the driver seat and the PTO is
switched on.
The emergency brake requires hydraulic pressure to be re-
leased. Therefore, if the motor is shut off, it is automatically
locked.
If the motor is running and the travel direction lever is in the
NEUTRAL position, it is also applied.
Note
The warning light in the multi-functional display "Parking
brake actuated" is on when the parking brake is applied.
