2 Driving direction lever
The following functions can be selected with the travel di-
rection lever, the selected programmes are shown on the
display.
Bring the travel direction lever into the central position.
Push the travel direction lever up and towards the front
Pull the travel direction lever up and towards the back
The transport speed can be selected between 20 km/h
(symbol turtle) and 40 km/h (symbol rabbit). The symbols
are shown on the display.
ATTENTION
In order to change the travel speed, the vehicle must be at
a standstill and the travel direction lever must be in the
NEUTRAL POSITION.
Operating error: If the travelling position is on forward or
reverse upon changing the travel speed, the symbol turtle/
rabbit changes on the display, however, the switchover
does not take place.
Push the travel direction lever towards the axle and se-
lect the transport speed.
Regulate the travel speed by means of the accelerator
pedal.
The cruise control works only in the work mode.
Select the desired working speed via the drive pedal.
If the vehicle travels with the desired working speed,
press the function key F8 on the display (cruise control
Set). The cruise control is activated.
To deactivate the cruise control, operate the brake ped-
al or press the function key F8 on the display again.
Pressing F9 (cruise control Resume) activates the pre-
viously set speed.

WARNING
Risk of accident!
It is prohibited to drive with the waste container raised!
The speed is reduced when you release the gas pedal;
a property that is different to passenger cars.
In transport mode, the speed reduction due to braking
when you let go of the gas pedal is lower than in work
mode.
ATTENTION
Let the motor warm up sufficiently prior to driving or
loading the vehicle.
Switch off PTO.
Press accelerator pedal down slowly.
Control the driving direction with the steering wheel.
Release the drive pedal, the machine brakes automat-
ically and stops.
For a stronger braking effect or in case of an emergen-
cy, actuate the brake pedal.

Ensure that the vehicle does not ground.
Obstacles up to 150 mm in height:
Bypass the obstacles slowly and carefully at an angle
of 45°.
Obstacles more than 150 mm in height:
Only drive over these obstacles using a suitable ramp.

When driving on public roads for transport purposes
(not during cleaning of public roads), the hydraulics
must be switched off and the waste container lowered.
Switch off PTO.

For cleaning using high pressure jet without detergent
(for e.g. for cleaning facades, park benches, garden
paths).
This high-pressure cleaner is intended and tested for the
exclusive use with the sweeper vacuum MC 130.
The high pressure cleaner must only be used with the in-
cluded flat spray nozzle.
