5 Parts Replacement

Issue 02 (2016-11-15)

Huawei Proprietary and Confidential



An electric heater needs to be replaced.



A spare electric heater of the same model is available and functional.

Context



The electric heater is maintained from the front.



There is one electric heater behind fan 2, and one behind fan 4. When replacing, replace
the two electric heaters together.

Procedure

Step 1

Shut down the air conditioner over the EMS.



Method 1: Log in to the ECC800 mobile phone or pad app as admin.

Choose

Home

Tap the cabinet that houses the air conditioner in the micro-module view.

Tap the air conditioner to be set in the cabinet layout diagram.

Choose

Method 2: Log in to the ECC800 WebUI as admin. Choose

Step 2

Disconnect the power supply from the air conditioner control unit after the air conditioner
shuts down over the EMS.

Step 3

Remove fan 2 and fan 4 by referring to

5.3.1.2 Replacing an Indoor Fan

Step 4

Cut the cable tie securing the electric heater terminal and remove the terminal.

Step 5

Remove the two screws from the electric heater fastener, and pull out the electric heater
forwards, as shown in

Figure 5-32
