Disconnect the power supply from the air conditioner control unit after the air conditioner
shuts down over the EMS.

Step 3

Remove the return air filter by referring to

5.3.1.1 Replacing a Return Air Filter

Step 4

Remove the top metal sheet of the condensate pump, as shown in

Figure 5-29

Removing a condensate pump

Step 5

Remove the hose clamps at the water inlet and outlet hoses of the condensate pump using a
Phillips screwdriver, remove the hoses and take out the pump, as shown in

Step 6

Install the new condensate pump in the original position by performing the preceding steps in
reverse order, connect the hoses, and install hose clamps.

Step 7

Clear up the condensate pump total running time.


