#3: A rack fixture attached to a Device is used to secure the rack pillars and the front of the
Device so that they are flat when the Device is installed in a rack.

Use a guide rail with a width of 56 mm or less so that it does not touch the rubber pads (see

It is not possible for the provided rack fixture alone to support the weight of a Device. Its
purpose is merely to hold a Device on the rack. Accordingly, use the following fixtures:
Hitachi WAN Accelerator: Guide rails or a shelf
You must use the guide rails and shelves provided with the rack, and these must be
able to support the weight of a Device (with the maximum number of optional modules
installed).
