12.2 Configuring the SP
12.2.1 List of configuration commands
The following table lists the commands used to configure the SP functionality.

Command name Description
sp-port
Sets the line connected to the SP.
peer-control vlan
Sets the Tag-VLAN on the SP for control traffic of the SP connection line.
peer-control ip
Sets the IPv4 address on the SP for control traffic of the SP connection line.
peer-control ipv6
Sets the IPv6 address on the SP for control traffic of the SP connection line.
12.2.2 Configuration command setting example
The following example shows how to use the configuration commands.
(1) Configuring for the communication between CSU and SP
Overview
To set the SP firmware, set the SP connection line and Tag-VLAN and IPv4
addresses.
Configuration command example
1.
(config)# sp-port 1/3
Specify port number 3 of NIF number 1 for the SP connection line to enter SP
administrator mode.

(config-sp)# peer-control vlan 10
Set VLAN 10 for control traffic Tag-VLAN.
3.
(config-sp)# peer-control ip 192.168.30.20 255.255.255.0
Set IPv4 address 192.168.30.20 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 for the control
traffic on the SP.
