22.2.7 Log information
show log-session
Description
This command shows the log entries recorded by the SP.
Input mode
SP user mode and SP administrator mode
Syntax
show log-session {system|SESSION} [{tail
COUNT
|follow}]
Parameters
system
Displays the recorded kernel log entries.
SESSION
Displays only log entries of the specified session.
tail
COUNT
Displays the specified count number of log entries from the latest log information.
follow
Displays a log entry every time log information is generated.
Display example:
SP01> show log-session MNG
Jan 1 00:00:29 MNG: rstctl-INFO EVT NIF:02 20012010 NIF2 initialized.
Jan 1 00:00:40 MNG: syncmng-INFO EVT NIF:02 23024011 SP changed the state to out of

Notes
Log entries are displayed in chronological order from the latest message or
operation. Therefore, the latest information is displayed last. If several log entries are
generated at the same time, those log entries might not be displayed in chronological
order.
The command might take some time if it is executed to display log entries in a
session where a large amount of session log entries are generated.
If log entries that have the same contents are generated in succession, the second
and subsequent log entries are displayed as
last message repeated

times
(where
x
is an integer of 0 or greater).
