REMOVAL FROM STORAGE
Check your engine as described in the BEFORE STARTING section of this manual.
If the fuel was drained during storage preparation, fill the tank with fresh gasoline. If you keep
a container of gasoline for refueling, be sure it contains only fresh gasoline. Gasoline oxidizes
and deteriorates over time, causing hard starting and clogging.
If the cylinder was coated with oil during storage preparation, the engine will smoke briefly at
startup. This is normal.
FUEL STORAGE
• Store the gasoline only in special can, otherwise there is a risk of fuel contamination.
• Never store engine in vicinity of stoves, ovens, water heaters with pilot light, contingently other
devices which can produce sparks.
• If you use contaminated gasoline there is a risk of irregular engine running or its damage.
• Store minimum quantity of the fuel which you can use to 14 days. Do not use fuel older than 14 days.
DEVICE-SPECIFIC STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Store the machine in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized

rust and corrosion.
3. Keep the machine in good condition, if necessary change warning and instruction labels on
the machine.
4. Be careful not to bend or kink cables.
NOTE: When storing care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light
oil or silicone, coat the equipment, especially all metal parts and all moving parts.
