OPERATION
CAUTION: THE MACHINE IS DESIGNED FOR LOADING ONLY BY MOVING FORWARD. BY
MOVING BACKWARDS, FIRST STOP THE SHAFT WITH BLADES. BY MOVING BACKWARDS
THE COLLECTION DOES NOT WORK AND THE MACHINE CAN BE DEMAGED.
PREPARING FOR OPERATION
1. Go to the tilled area. The height setting lever should be put on the transport position.
2. Check all the parts for damages and see whether they are tight.
3. The whole air filter for contamination (it is not necessary on new unit).
4. Before each use, check the condition of cultivating blades, if damaged, replace them with new ones.
OPERATING LEVER
0
= OFF (set off)
= quickly (rotation speed)
= slowly (idle running)
= choke (cold start)
TO START ENGINE
WARNING! Carbon monoxide gas is toxic. Breathing it can cause unco nsciousness
and even kill you. Avoid any areas or actions that expose you to carbon monoxide.
1. Ignition is connected through the cable and the spark plug cap (the rubber boot) with the
spark plug. Check the connection (pic. 14B).
2. Throttle switch to cold start (choke)

3. Grasp the starter handle (pic. 12A) and pull gently on the starter handle until it begins to
resist, then pull quickly and forcefully upwards.
WARNING! Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it
gently to prevent damage to the starter.
4. Return the starter handle slowly to the rope guide bolt after engine starts.
5. Push the safety switch (pic. 9A) down and simultaneously push the plowshares drive lever
(pic. 9B), the plowshares drive lever are now beginning to turn.
WARNING! Keep hands and feet away from the rotary cultivation blades.
Start the engine carefully according to instructions and with feet well away from the blade.
Do not tilt the machine when starting the engine. Start the machine on a level surface. Keep
hands and feet away from the rotating parts.
TO STOP ENGINE
1. After the last tilling let the unit riddle running for 1-2 minutes. The engine will get cooled a bit.
2. Adjust the throttle lever to „STOP“ position (pic. 8) (if it is equipped), adjust the engine on/
off switch into the position „0“ (if it is equipped)
3. Disconnect and ground the spark plug wire (pic. 14B), to prevent accidental starting while
equipment is unattended.
